What we do at homes across Tampa Bay
Three jobs cover most of what a homeowner or renter actually needs from a locksmith. Here is how each one works and when it is the right choice.
House lockout entry
Locked out of your own front door, back slider or garage entry. We open it without damaging the door or frame wherever the hardware allows, and check the lock still operates properly before we leave.
Rekeying existing locks
The cheapest way to kill old keys. We repin the cylinders you already own so every previous key stops working, then cut you a new set. Ideal after a move, a breakup, a lost keyring, or a tenant change.
Lock and deadbolt replacement
When the hardware is worn, mismatched, salt-air corroded or simply not up to the job, we swap it. New deadbolts, knobs and levers installed and keyed alike so one key opens everything.
Keyed-alike setups
Front door, back door, garage side door, shed. Different brands, one key. We key the whole property to a single cylinder so you stop carrying a jailer's keyring.
Broken key extraction and lock repair
Snapped keys, sticking cylinders and deadbolts that no longer throw cleanly. We extract, service or replace so the door locks the way it should.
Smart lock installation
Keypad and Wi-Fi deadbolts fitted correctly to your door prep, with the mechanical backup key set up properly — that part is where most DIY installs go wrong.
How a home visit works
Tell us the situation
Lockout, rekey, or replacement — and roughly how many doors. That is usually enough for us to quote a total before dispatch.
We come to the house
A mobile technician arrives with cylinders, pins, blanks and hardware on the van. No trip to a shop, no second appointment for parts.
You leave with working keys
Every exterior door tested, new keys cut and handed over, and the old keys rendered useless if you asked for a rekey.
New home in Pinellas, Pasco or Hillsborough? Rekey first.
A house sale hands you a key, not a list of everyone who has one. Contractors, cleaners, the previous owner's relatives, an old dog walker — any of them may still have a copy, and none of them are on the closing documents. Rekeying on day one costs a fraction of a break-in and takes under an hour on a typical home.
Serving Pasco, Hillsborough & Pinellas.
We drive to homes, townhouses, condos and rentals across the three counties — from St. Petersburg and Largo through Tampa and Brandon up to Land O' Lakes and New Port Richey.
Do not see your town? We cover surrounding communities across all three counties every day — with a typical 15–25 minute response in core areas. Call +1 (619) 345-0942 and we will tell you exactly how soon a technician can reach you.
We've got answers.
Rekey or replace — which do I need?
If the lock works properly and you simply want the old keys dead, rekeying is faster and cheaper because you keep the hardware. Replace when the lock is worn, damaged, corroded, or you want a different style, grade or a keypad.
Can you make every door open with the same key?
Yes. As long as the cylinders are compatible, we can key different doors and often different brands alike, so one key opens the front, back and garage entry.
How long does a typical rekey take?
Most single-family homes with three to five exterior locks are finished in well under an hour, including cutting your new keys on site.
I rent. Can I have the locks rekeyed?
Check your lease and get your landlord's approval first — most Florida leases require it. Once you have permission we are happy to do the work, and we can key it back to the original if you need that at move-out.
Do you install smart locks bought from a store?
Yes. Bring your own keypad or Wi-Fi deadbolt and we will fit it to your door, adjust the prep if the bore or backset does not match, and make sure the mechanical override key is properly set up.
Need a home lockout, rekey or lock change?
Call and we will quote the job up front, then send a technician to your door anywhere in Tampa, Pinellas or Pasco.
