What we install, and where

Installation is where cheap hardware shows its flaws — and where older Florida construction fights back. From standard preps to 1990s mobile home doors with non-standard openings, we fit it properly and key it to your setup.

01

Deadbolt installation & upgrade

Knob-only doors upgraded to proper deadbolts, or tired hardware swapped for new grade-2 and grade-3 sets — aligned, shimmed and keyed alike so one key does the whole house.

02

Smart lock & keypad installs

Keypad and Wi-Fi deadbolts fitted correctly, including adjusting older bores and backsets that do not match the template. The mechanical override key is set up properly — the step most DIY installs miss.

03

Odd-sized & older doors

Mobile homes, shed doors, 1980s condos with unusual preps — we make standard hardware fit non-standard openings instead of telling you it cannot be done.

04

Storefront & commercial hardware

Deadlatches, mortise cylinders, lever sets and glass-door hardware for Tampa Bay storefronts, sized for doors that cycle hundreds of times a day. Commercial →

05

Panic bars & exit devices

Exit hardware installed and adjusted to code — because a panic bar that binds is a safety problem, not a convenience issue. Commercial →

06

Gate, shed & outbuilding locks

Pool gates, sheds, mailboxes and storage doors — the secondary locks that protect the stuff outside your house. Keyed to match your main keys where the hardware allows.

07

Master key systems

One key for you, area keys for staff — designed, pinned and charted for offices, rentals and multi-door properties, with restricted keyways so copies cannot be made over the counter. Commercial →

08

Key fob & remote replacement

New fobs, remote head keys and keyless remotes cut and programmed on site for most makes and models — with spare fobs done in the same visit for far less than a second call-out. Car keys →

09

Transponder & push-to-start keys

Chipped keys and push-to-start proximity fobs originated and programmed at the curb — no tow to the dealer, no waiting room, honest dealer-beating quote on the phone. Car keys →

How it runs, start to finish

01

Call and describe it

The more detail you give dispatch — vehicle, door type, what failed — the tighter the quote and the better equipped the technician.

02

Quote, then dispatch

You approve a total price before anyone drives. The nearest unit across our three counties takes the run.

03

Finished on site

In, installed, tested and handed over — at the price you approved, before the technician leaves.

Why installation quality matters

A deadbolt that binds because the door shifted, or a smart lock whose override was never keyed, fails exactly when you need it. We measure the prep, fit the hardware to the door as it actually hangs — not as the box assumes — and test everything before we leave.

Doors measured and prepped on site — old Florida construction is rarely square
Hardware you buy yourself (Home Depot, Amazon, Costco) installed properly — or sourced for you
Keyed-alike setups so one key opens every new and existing lock
Non-standard openings solved, from mobile home doors to commercial frames
Everything tested and adjusted before the technician leaves
Quoted upfront — recent deadbolt installs have run $100–150 all-in per customer reports

"Poor Mo had to spend more than a half an hour trying to put a new deadbolt lock into my 1993 mobile home shed door. The openings aren't built the same and he had one heck of a time but tons of patients and got it fitting perfectly and I'm very happy with both the company and Mo!"

Answers, before you even call.

How much does lock installation cost?

Every job is quoted upfront before we dispatch. As a real reference point, our most recent customer-reported deadbolt installs ran $100–150 all-in — but the honest number depends on your door prep and hardware, which is why we quote first.

Can you install a lock I bought myself?

Yes — bring your own keypad, deadbolt or smart lock and we will fit it, adjust the prep if the bore or backset does not match, and set up the override key properly.

My door is an odd size. Can you still install a deadbolt?

Almost always. Florida mobile homes, sheds and older condos routinely have non-standard openings — one of our recent installs was a 1993 mobile home shed door that fought back for half an hour and still came out perfect. We make hardware fit the door, not the other way round.

How long does an install take?

A straightforward deadbolt swap is typically well under an hour including testing. Smart locks and multi-door keyed-alike setups take longer — we give you the realistic window when you book.

Do you install commercial hardware too?

Yes — storefront deadlatches, mortise cylinders, lever sets and panic bars, scheduled around your trading hours. Larger jobs get a site look before we quote. Commercial services →
